From Dusun Cecer, the paved track winds through pineapple and coffee plantations before reaching the forest edge. For those seeking further exploration, the second peak on the Bakosurtanal map, slightly lower at 1,262 meters, is just a 15-minute hike from the true summit. This peak features an old Dutch-era triangulation pillar and offers excellent sunrise views to the east. A less-used trail continues down to the village of Roe, providing additional trekking options for the more adventurous.
