Starting the Journey
The adventure begins at 7:00 AM with a pick-up from your hotel, followed by a drive to the harbor to board the boat. By 8:00 AM, you’ll set sail towards Kanawa Island. Known for its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear water, Kanawa Island is perfect for snorkeling. You will arrive around 9:30 AM, giving you ample time to snorkel and relax on the beach.
Exploring Kelor and Menjerite Islands
At 11:30 AM, the tour heads to Kelor Island, where you can trek to enjoy panoramic views. After reaching Kelor Island by 1:00 PM, you can relax and refresh with some coconut water (at your own cost). Next, by 2:00 PM, you’ll set off to Menjerite Island, another snorkeling haven. Here, you can explore vibrant coral reefs and a variety of colorful fishes.
Meeting the Komodo Dragons
By 3:00 PM, the journey continues to Rinca Island, renowned for its Komodo dragons. You’ll arrive at 3:30 PM and embark on a trekking adventure to observe these magnificent creatures and other wildlife. The experience is both thrilling and educational, offering insights into the island’s unique ecosystem.
Sunset at Kalong Island
The final stop is Kalong Island, known for its spectacular sunset views and flying foxes. By 5:00 PM, you’ll reach the island and witness the breathtaking sight of flying foxes leaving their nests against the backdrop of a stunning sunset. At 7:00 PM, the tour concludes as you head back to Labuan Bajo, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel, ending an unforgettable day.
